Abstract


Regional economic growth influence by internal or external factors. Economicgrowth as indicated by the capabilities of a region to supplied various economic goods forthe resident on the long run period. Various problem raised on conjuction with regionaleconomic growth. Regional disparities and equally development distribution becoming mainproblem on regional growth.This research used the panel data (time series and cross section data) from various region.Data analysis aid by the use of GLS (Generalized Least Square). This methode consist of twomodels, as commonly recommended, ie : Fixed Effect Model (FEM) and Random EffectModel (REM). The research result show that coefficient of determination (R2) 0,79 %, meaningthat 79 % of independent variable could explain it influence on dependent variable, whilethe rest of 21 % explained by the other variable outside of the model. Estimation result showthat investment (domestic investment) give positive influence on economic growth, governmentdevelopment expenditure positively influence economic growth, the total high school positivelyinfluence economic growth, roads network negatively influence economic growth, populationdensity positively influence economic growth, and etnic heterogeneity also positively influenceeconomic growth with significant level of 95 %
