PENDEKATAN PERSEPSI VISUAL UNTUK MENATA KUALITAS VISUAL RUANG PERKOTAAN

Abstract

Visualization of townscape area is attempt to unorganized which experience transferring and changing for much conflict among a lot of needs, capabilities, and heterogenic perceptions of its citizen. This is reflected to the physical area condition which caused by chaos of visual townscape composition that make the character and visual quality decreasing. Visual perception research was used to seeking and guiding into visual quality of townscape character. This guidelines have function as shaper of urban visual character. The research concluded that there are factors (elements) which caused the decreased of the urban character and the visual quality such as; developing and rapid changing of its element so the preserve and maintenance can be do by visual character design guidelines.
